This week – start noticing kindness that you see in others. Maybe you start small by noticing someone holding a door for someone else, or the people in the line at the grocery store letting the mom with a crying baby go thru the line first. Now start to pay it forward. Who can you do small kindness for? How can you make someone’s life just a little easier today?
We have a tendency to focus on hardship, the things that don’t work out, the small and sometimes large difficulties of each day. Research has found that you can shift your mental focus so that you spend more time remembering the good things that happen. But to do that you have to practice!
This is your week. Make yourself a little lighter and a little brighter by recognizing the kindness around you and feeding it back to others.
