Can I request an LGBTQ+ trainer?

Quick Answer...

Yes, you can. It is a pre-requisite of being a Happy Human trainer that they are kind, accepting, and non-judgmental. And some of our trainers are themselves part of the LGBTQ+ community! Note your preference on the ‘find your trainer’ form and we’ll match you to a great trainer for you.

let's keep it simple.

Yes, you can absolutely request an LGBTQ+ trainer. When you fill out our Trainer Match Form, you’ll have a chance to share preferences that help us connect you with the right person. We know that trust is the foundation of good training, and for some people, that means knowing your trainer understands or reflects your identity. We take that seriously and make sure your match is someone who helps you feel safe, respected, and understood.

why it matters.

Asking for the right trainer isn’t about being picky — it’s about creating the best environment for your health. If you feel judged, unseen, or uncomfortable, it’s much harder to build the habits that keep you strong and mobile for years to come. That’s why we believe it’s completely valid to ask for someone who understands your needs.

how happy human does it.

At Happy Human, every new client fills out a Trainer Match Form. That’s where you can tell us what matters to you — whether it’s personality, training style, or identity. We listen. Some of our trainers are LGBTQ+ themselves, and all are committed to creating a welcoming, judgment-free environment. Our goal is always the same: to help you feel seen, supported, and comfortable in your own home. We match you with someone who respects your journey and helps you move forward with confidence.
